I'm not a surfer 🤷🏽‍♂️- but a master carpenter.
I've done lots of sports in my life, from martial arts and triathlon to mountaineering, and even tennis and kayaking. But strangely enough, I never started surfing. So there I was, lying on a beach in Corsica with my family – and bam – brainwave. I'm going to build surfboards. Out of wood - cause wood is my passion.

Since 2023, I am a lifetime student at a surf academy in Brazil. This has the unbeatable advantage of giving me access to countless professional board shapes and a wealth of knowledge. Depending on body weight, skill level, and waves, different board shapes and volumes are necessary. You never stop learning.

In 2026, we will begin renting out our party Ape. If you and your guests would like to experience a holiday atmosphere, please feel free to inquire. Since the Ape only travels at 43 km/h, the rental radius is limited to a maximum of 40 km around Obing.

Our clothes are inspired by life, passions, myths, and the universe. We launch a new design almost every month, so it's worth checking back often. We're constantly evolving.

Kinitou is a made-up word combining Kini, the Bavarian king, our family name, and the toucan, a bird I've carved many times in my woodworking shop and feel a deep connection to.
